Link to interview of Pedro Gonzalez Rubio. He made "Alamar", which I just saw. I think it is one of my favourite films now. Very beautiful, and so well filmed I could smell the fish, and the sea and wood...I don't think I can describe how good it was. Just that it's made me start to draw again. What's funny is that "Samson in Z island" was based on this film, before I had seen it, based on someone's description of it. Anyway, I already want to see it again!

I just read "Gogo Monster" by Taiyo Matsumoto and now I want to read more by him. I like his drawings a lot- the lines make the people look fragile, like they might break at any moment. Imagine people drawn like that with landscapes like those by Miyazaki..wowowow! Anyway, this is an interesting interview...:)
